01About

Engineer by training. Operator by temperament. Strategist by role.

I'm Sadab Mani — Mani to most — Group CTO for a group of 16 companies and brands in Bangladesh. The core is digital infrastructure: international internet gateway (Peerex Networks, AS137491), nationwide broadband (ICC Communication, AS58689), cloud, hosting, IP telephony and A2P messaging — extending into streaming, digital media, travel and clean energy.

I came up through the network — routing, peering and operations — with Cisco and Juniper certifications along the way. That shapes how I lead: decisions grounded in how packets actually move, and deep respect for the engineers who keep them moving.

Today my focus is two-fold: building infrastructure the country can depend on, and the AI-driven operations that keep it running — designed for local realities like NTTN dependency, international capacity limits and an unforgiving power grid.

Leadership principles

  1. 01

Velocity at the edge, stability at the core

Move fast on products, portals and automation. Change the core only with a window, a peer review and a rollback plan.

  2. 02

    Carrier-grade is the baseline

SLA, redundancy and monitoring are designed in from day one — never sold as an add-on.

  3. 03

Open source first, sovereign by design

Default to open, self-hosted platforms. Pay for managed only when SLA, engineering time or compliance justifies it.

  4. 04

Automate the toil, elevate the people

Let machines watch dashboards and write reports, so engineers can design, build and improve.

  5. 05

    Teach while doing

Every project should leave the team more capable than it found them.

    • Shaping a carrier-neutral colocation and data-center program, with power, cooling and UPS acceptance designed for load-shedding reality.
    • Leading ICC Cloud — a 100% local cloud for Bangladesh on Proxmox: VM cloud, backup/DR and object storage, with a path to Ceph and Kubernetes.
    • Building an AI-driven operations layer: automated notifications and reporting pipelines on n8n and PostgreSQL.

03Vision & Mission

Sovereign. Autonomous. Open.

Mission

Build digital infrastructure people can depend on — and operations intelligent enough to run themselves.

Every day that means resilient networks, honest SLAs, and engineers empowered by automation instead of buried in alerts.

Vision · 2026 → 2036

A decade where networks heal themselves, data stays home, and interconnection is open by default.

The next ten years belong to operators who combine physical infrastructure with software intelligence — and govern both responsibly.

  • Autonomous operations

Networks that detect, diagnose and remediate on their own — with humans setting intent and approving change.

  • Sovereign cloud & data

Critical workloads hosted in-country, on open platforms the operator controls and customers can audit.

  • Open interconnection

Carrier-neutral data centers and dense local peering that keep domestic traffic domestic.

  • Security by default

Zero-trust access, DDoS resilience and governance built into every product — not sold as an extra.

  • Accountable AI

Clear ownership, audit trails and human approval for every automated decision on critical infrastructure.

Start with the boring work. AI earns trust in operations by writing the report nobody wants to write — long before it touches a router.
